"La música transmite pensamientos, ideologías, maneras de vivir, las cuales logran llegar a una gran cantidad de público por medio de sus canciones. En el caso latinoamericano, la música forma parte de nuestra cultura y de nuestras raíces. Es de mi especial interés el ritmo de la salsa y el vallenato, dos de los ritmos más importantes en Colombia... Este proyecto tuvo tres principales objetivos. El primero objetivo era generar una crítica sobre el consumo de medios audiovisuales sin un análisis de los mismos. El segundo objetivo era investigar cuál ha sido el rol de la mujer en la industria musical, y cómo se ha visto reflejada en las canciones hoy en día. Finalmente, el tercer objetivo surge del interés de explorar este último aspecto en ritmos musicales que caracterizan la cultura colombiana, como lo es la salsa y el vallenato." -- Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado
Resumen
"Music transmits thoughts, ideologies, ways of living, which reach a large number of audiences through its songs. In the case of Latin America, music is part of our culture and our roots. Of special interest to me is the rhythm of salsa and vallenato, two of the most important rhythms in Colombia... This project had three main objectives. The first objective was to generate a critique of the consumption of audiovisual media without an analysis of them. The second objective was to investigate what the role of women in the music industry has been, and how it has been reflected in the songs today. Finally, the third objective arises from the interest to explore this last aspect in musical rhythms that characterize Colombian culture, such as salsa and vallenato." -- Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado
