Summary: This final thesis report presents the results of the case study of the "Programa de Licenciatura en Educación Bilingèue Español-Inglés" of the Institución Universitaria Colombo Americana (UNICA), which was proposed as the main objective: to describe the teaching competences in bilingual education of bilingual teachers in training of the Programs. This study was developed in two stages, which were carried out in an estimated period of one year. In the first half of 2016, the instruments of data collection were designed, validated and applied: a semi-structured interview with the Rector; a focus group with six students from the first to the seventh semester; a focus group with four graduates; a social pedagogical cartography with seven teaching directors; and the review of the Program's Educational Project (2016). Resumen
Este informe final de tesis presenta los resultados del estudio de caso del Programa de Licenciatura en Educación Bilingèue Español-Inglés de la Institución Universitaria Colombo Americana (âUNICA), el cual se propuso como objetivo principal: describir las competencias docentes en educación bilingèue de los docentes bilingèues en formación del Programa. Este estudio fue desarrollado en dos etapas, las cuales fueron llevadas a cabo en un periodo estimado de un año. En el primer semestre de 2016, se diseñaron, validaron y aplicaron los instrumentos de recolección de información: una entrevista semiestructurada con la Rectora; un grupo focal con seis estudiantes de primer a séptimo semestre; un grupo focal con cuatro egresados; una cartografía social pedagógica con siete directivos docentes; y la revisión del Proyecto Educativo del Programa (2016).
