Exploraciones hacia la resignificación del cuerpo como objeto a través de la modificación corporal en un sociedad transhumana y desexualizada. Trans.hum4n_o pretende especular acerca de las posibilidades de castración genética del cuerpo humano como recurso para controlar la sobrepoblacion y así frenar el antropoceno, de esta manera el proyecto de grado pretende abarcar el transhumanismo a través de una mirada del diseño de ficción, el cual supone aplicar metodologías del diseño tradicional para generar mas allá de un producto o resultado concreto, espacios de discusión y la generación de conocimiento para reflexionar sobre los avances que transforman la concepción tanto del cuerpo humano como del ser humano. El proyecto principalmente plantea la construcción de escenarios hipotéticos o diegesis que permiten ser validados a través de prototipos diegéticos o artefactos que únicamente tienen coherencia dentro del mundo de ficción creado, estos prototipos hacen un reflexión hacia los cambios socio-politicos y biológicos que traería el avance hacia una sociedad sin órganos reproductivos y sin posibilidades de procreación natural.
Resumen
Explorations towards the resignification of the body as an object through bodily modification in a transhuman and de-sexualized society. Trans.hum4n_o aims to speculate on the possibilities of genetic castration of the human body as a resource to control overpopulation in the anthropocene, in this way the degree project pretends to cover transhumanism through a look of fiction design, which involves the application of traditional design methods to generate diverse spaces open to dialogue and possibilities guided to think on the advances that transform the conception of both the human body and the human being. The project mainly proposes the construction of hypothetical scenarios or diegesis that allow their validation through diegetic prototypes or artifacts that only have coherence within the created fiction world, these prototypes makes reference to the socio-political and biological changes that make progress a society without reproductive organs and without possibilities of natural procreation.
