It summarizes six key messages to guide urgent action by decision-makers in Latin America and the Caribbean. The region faces a turning point: the loss of ecosystems, the deterioration of water services, and the increase in extreme events are generating growing social and economic costs, especially in rural, indigenous, and coastal communities.
