Publicación: Aproximación de la teoría de juegos a la disminución del número de colados en Transmilenio

Esta investigación estudia las posibles estrategias que el sistema Transmilenio está en capacidad de utilizar para reducir el número de entradas irregulares al sistema. En este sentido se analiza la problemática de los colados desde la perspectiva de la teoría de juegos. En el juego participa el transmilenio quien decide primero qué tanto vigila y en un segundo momento juegan los usuarios de forma simultánea decidiendo si pagan o entran irregularmente al sistema. A partir de este juego se analiza la solución teórica y empírica de la problemática. Se encuentra que disminuir el costo del pasaje para el uso del sistema, aumentar el valor de la multa por entrar irregularmente y una mezcla entre estas reducen el número de colados en el sistema. Finalmente se plantea que el distrito puede disminuir el número de colados asumiendo pérdidas en los beneficios del sistema solo si mediante esta estrategia crea cultura ciudadana.
Resumen
This research studies the possible strategies that the Transmilenio system is capable of using to reduce the number of irregular entries into the system. In this sense, the problem of the illegal entries is analyzed from the perspective of game theory. Transmilenio participates in the game and decides first how much he patrol and in a second moment the users play simultaneously, deciding whether to pay or enter the system irregularly. From this game the theoretical and empirical solution of the problem is analyzed. It is found that decreasing the cost of passage for the use of the system, increasing the value of the fine for entering irregularly and a mixture between these reduce the number of illegal entries into the system. Finally, it is proposed that the district can decrease the problem assuming losses in the benefits of the system only if through this strategy it creates citizen culture.
